Information Bulletin of the International Academic Conference “XXIX A. Krymskyi Oriental Readings”

For the fourth consecutive year, the International Interdisciplinary Certificate Program in Jewish Studies has the honor of participating in and organizing its own sections within the framework of the “A. Krymskyi Oriental Readings,” which have been held for many years by the A. Yu. Krymskyi Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

This year, the Readings will take place on June 25–26, 2026.

With the participation of the International Interdisciplinary Certificate Program in Jewish Studies, the section “Oriental Aspects of Jewish Studies” will be organized.

The section is dedicated to the study of texts and sources in Hebrew – the written heritage of the Jewish people from Biblical times to the Modern period – as well as documentary sources on the history of Jewish communities, epigraphic materials and inscriptions, and Jewish history and culture in the broader context of Eastern cultures.

Working languages: Ukrainian, English.

Presentation length: 15 minutes.

Format: online.
