For the third year in a row, the International Interdisciplinary Certificate Program in Jewish Studies has had the honor of participating in the “A. Krymsky Oriental Studies Readings”, an annual event organized by the A. Yu. Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine).

This year, the XXVIII International Scientific Conference “A. Krymsky Oriental Studies Readings” took place on June 26.

With the participation of the International Interdisciplinary Certificate Program in Jewish Studies, the “Jewish Studies” section and the round table “Jewry in the Territory of Ukraine” were organized.

Speakers in the “Jewish Studies” section included international researchers — Gerşom Qiprisç (Netherlands); Arye Olman (Israel); Maria Boichun (Germany) — as well as Ukrainian scholars: Sofiia Korn; Anastasiia Oriekhova; Yurii (Amir) Radchenko, PhD; Daria Skvortsova; Oleksii Khamrai, PhD; Dmytro Tsolin, PhD; and Olha Yashna, PhD.

At the round table “Jewry in the Territory of Ukraine”, the speakers included Pavlo Bersenev; Andrii Hurduz, PhD; Iryna Etkina, PhD; Pavlo Yeremieiev, PhD; Tamara Kutsaieva, PhD; Liudmyla Pavlenko, PhD; Bohdan Petsiukh; Taisiia Sydorchuk, PhD; Maksym Slozkin; Anna Umanska; Tetiana Fedoriv; Yevhen Shnaider; and Vadym Yablonskyi.
